Second Generation BlackBerry Curve Coming Soon
filed in BlackBerry Phone on Jan.08, 2009
The fresh and trendy BlackBerry Curve 8900 qwerty cell phone is due in USA within just a month. The D-day is February 11 2009 when the BlacBerry Curve will become available at T-Mobile outlets. So, a Valentine phone? I feel for you guys - your girlfriend will wanna this qwerty phone as their Valentine gift.
Meanwhile, it is possible to buy the new Blackberry qwerty cell phone in Great Britain from some online outlets and in Canada from Rogers Wireless. Some call this qwerty cell phone Javelin - referring to the unofficial code name used by RIM while developing this cell phone.
Overall if we compare Curve with Bold, Curve will be a “Volkswagen” version for smaller budgets. It is not a 3G phone (quad-band GSM/EDGE), it has a slower processor and a weaker speaker. Yet its camera is much better than the one installed on Bold, it is smaller and it has a better screen resolution.
Curve’s camera is the best that’s available from BlackBerry and second best to LG mobile cameras. It has impressive 3.2 Mpix resolution, flash and autofocus.
The new qwerty phone will be packed with all the usual BlackBerry features - good for browsing, mailing, chatting, editing documents and other stuff. The quality screen will make it a nice small media centre for viewing both online and offline video clips.
Patience now! It won’t be long - only one month till it hits the stores.
