New Generation LG Prada Qwerty Cell Phone
filed in News & Stuff on Oct.15, 2008
It is announced at last! One of the most desirable designer cell phones - LG Prada 2. This stylish unisex qwerty cell phone will be sold through European high street shops before the end of this year and probably in the nearest future it will hit USA market as well.
The previous generation of LG Prada was basically a piece of bijou, it lacked 3G support and other necessary features. The new phone has gotten much better. Design-wise it is similar to the old Prada but once you hold it in your hand you realize that it is quite different. A magic click and a full qwerty keyboard slides out. It is a great keyboard, very convenient and much bigger than the usual integrated buttons on conventional qwerty cell phone models like BlackBerry or HTC. To add to the functionality, Prada still has the touch screen for managing calls and simple commands.
LG Prada 2 has two cameras. One on the front for video calls and one at the bottom for taking high-quality images. I mean it when I say high quality. It has a 5 megapixel camera (it was 2 megapixel on the previous generation) with a marvellous Schneider-Kreuznach lens (they supply lenses for names like Kodak and Samsung).
LG Prada qwerty cell phone offers both Wi-Fi and 3G connection, full HTML (Java enabled) browser, an option to view and edit office documents, Bluetooth, FM radio, MP3 and Video player and a whole lot of other features. You can upgrade the memory to 8 Gb using MicroSD cards to store all your favourite movies and MP3 music.
The large 3 inch screen with 240 x 400 pixel resolution is perfect for viewing videos and appreciating pictures. Yes, LG Prada is an expensive phone, it will cost about $820. Yet, it is not much for a qwerty cell phone that really delivers the style.
