Acer DX900

Acer DX900

The Taiwanese giant Acer has recently acquired another company from Taiwan, called E-Ten. They were popular for making the stylish range of qwerty cell phones and touch-screen phones GloFiish. Now the funny and wacky brand-name is living its final days. The flagman of the company Glofiish 900 is now renamed to Acer DX900 and awaits its second debut in the USA. Hopefully now that E-ten is owned by Acer, they will have a guarantee service in place. Before now, you had to be a phone guru yourself to solve technical problems (not that there were many) of your Glofiish-es

Glofiish is really big in Russia. They are competing fiercly with HTC to rule the Russian Windows Mobile Qwerty Phone market.

It is believed that soon all other “fishes” will have their names changed to Acer.
The Acer DX900 is a nice phone featuring Windows Mobile 6.1, UMTS/HSDPA network support, Bluetooth, WiFi and a good quality 3.0 Megapixel Camera.

The most popular qwerty phones by E-ten are M700 and M800.

Acer is currently the third largest manufacturer of computers and peripheria worldwide after Hewlett Packard and Dell. The company is worth around $150 billion. Do they care about recession and credit crunch? Wanna bet?
